Starting today, the Mysto will be available in select Koreatowns in major metropolitan areas under the "Helio powered by SK Telecom" brand. These phones will support Korean language input, sport Korean keypads, and go on sale for US$149.99. More information on the Korean-American version of the Mysto can be found on the KA.Helio.com website.
For those readers familiar with Samsung's popular U600 GSM handset, the new Mysto won't seem all that new and different since they share many of the same design traits. But rest asured, the Mysto has the full range of Helio features and services that the company is known for.
While the regular general release version of the Mysto is not expected to go on sale until mid or late January, starting on December 26th, die-hard Helio fans will actually have the chance to pick up a Mysto early by visiting the New York or Santa Monica Helio flagships stores and specifically asking for a Mysto.
There won't be any Mysto units on the show floor, shoppers won't find any signs signaling that the Mysto is on sale, but both stores will have a limited supply of the devices stashed behind the counter that can be accessed simply by asking for one.
